The hotel has a clean, modern lounge and restaurant area, which was really pleasant. The pool was lovely, though getting there from the changing rooms was a bit awkward due to the stairs, and the water was a little cloudy—though the temperature was just right. We were disappointed with the room allocation. Ours overlooked a building site, and when I asked for a room facing the dock, I was told it would be an extra £30 per night because that counted as a “superior” room. However, on Booking.com, this wasn’t made clear—there was no mention that dock views were limited to a different room category. It felt frustrating, especially when the next day I overheard someone checking in who had booked a standard room and was told theirs did have a dock view. That inconsistency was quite annoying. Although the small welcome gifts were a nice touch. That said, everything else about our stay was excellent. Although our room lacked a view, it was very spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The heating worked well, the staff were lovely, and breakfast was excellent. One small issue was a fire alarm that went off at 7:45 one morning—we had to start heading out before it was silenced—but of course, that’s only an issue as it wasn't a real emergency. No apology or compensation was offered .

We had a standard room which was spacious, with a great view towards the cable car. Bed was really comfortable, bathroom spacious and clean. The family enjoyed a hot breakfast and a friendly staff member would arrange a bowl of porridge for me. Toppings of nuts/seeds and fruits were available. You can request pancakes and omelettes for free. I had a swim most mornings and enjoyed the pool/spa area. The family liked being near the buzzing Canary Wharf and found the quick Elizabeth Line meant we were able to be in Central London in 30 minutes. Bar and restaurant area was pleasant and again the staff were all attentive. Staff on reception were very helpful and friendly- Ty being a stand out member with advice.

From the moment I stepped in the hotel the service and staff was 10/10. I was assisted by Vivien who was soo kind and gave me the best recommendations on activities around the area. The manager on duty Gustavo was absolutely brilliant too. I was upgraded to a king room for free with the most amazing views and this really made my stay one of my favourites in London. The room is soo spacious and the bar fridge came in handy too! I will definitely be returning with my family next time as I discovered it’s a very child friendly hotel too. For anyone attending a concert at the O2 this is a convenient hotel,I took the cable car and came back with a train which is literally 2 stops to royal Victoria station.

Although it should be noted that the cable cars were not running when the evening event in the O2 was over and we had to get the tube back which was fine. The room was nice with actual brick walls between the rooms instead of the typical cardboard walls which you can hear everything through. The breakfast was also superb with pretty much everything you could want on offer. It was also nice to have a pool which is quite rare for London hotels and our kids loved it. It's also very close to the Excel too and as an added bonus there is a Tesco right next door for picking up water etc.

On arrival, check in was quick and efficient, I was given information about the spa/pool facilities and times etc also about breakfast and WiFi (the WiFi actually worked well too) The room was clean and very comfortable and also quiet which was perfect and we both slept really well. The only slightly negative thing was the lifts being on the 6th floor (which I preferred) is sometimes took a bit of time to call a lift up but not really a fault of the hotel was just at busy times, but stairs were an option and going down isn't bad 🙂. Breakfast was good staff were friendly and efficient. I would recommend this hotel for work or pleasure.
